Francis Bromley

Bromley, Francis, ausgezeichneter Kupfer- und Stahlstecher und Arbeiter in Schwarzkunst zu London, Mitglied der Akademie der Künste, gest. 1843, fertigte verschiedene wirkungsvolle Stiche, unter denen man zu den besten zählt: Rural amusement, nach Lawrence; spanische Mönche zu Sevilla predigend, nach J. F. Lewis (1836); le Serment trahi, nach E. F. Parris; die Katechisation, nach G. Harvey (1839); Wellington, nach Cooper (1837); The Royal Cortege in the Windsor Park, nach R. B. Davis (1840); The parting hour, nach H. Corbould (1828).
